Who we are
Every beauty lover has that one product. The serum you’ve repurchased six times, the nail shade you wear every fall, the mascara you’d grab first in a fire. That’s a cult product, and that’s what Cult Confidential is all about.
We started Cult Confidential in 2026 because we love beauty the way you do: obsessively, a little nerdily, and with a bathroom shelf that’s slightly out of control. We wanted a place that cuts through the noise of sponsored hauls and endless “must-haves”, and just tells you what’s actually worth it.
So that’s what we do. We test the cult classics to see if they still deserve the hype. We try the viral launches so you don’t waste your money. And we dig up the hidden gems that deserve a lot more love.
We don’t gatekeep. The best beauty advice has always been passed between friends, across bathroom counters and over the bathroom sink. If we find a brilliant formula, a $12 dupe or the nail color everyone’s going to wear next month, you’ll hear it from us first. No secret-keeping, no snobbery.
So click around. Stay awhile. We hope you leave with a new favorite, and maybe a few less products you didn’t need.

Our Standards
We only recommend products we’ve actually used, for at least two weeks, in real life. No brand decides what we test or what we say about it, and we’ll always tell you when something is overhyped.

Our POV
Beauty is for everyone, whatever your skin tone, skin type, age, gender, budget or level of beauty obsession. We believe there’s no “right” way to do beauty. A ten-step routine and a swipe of lip balm are equally valid. Our job is to give you honest information so you can choose what works for you.
We also believe beauty should be fun. It’s ten quiet minutes in the morning that are just yours. It’s a fresh manicure that makes a chaotic week feel a little more put together. It’s play, self-care, and sometimes armor. Never a rulebook.

Camilla, Founder & Editor
Camilla has loved all things beauty for as long as she can remember, and has spent years testing skincare, makeup and nails: the good, the bad and the “why did I put that on my face.” She’s Scandinavian, takes her skincare routine through a Nordic winter very seriously, and has a soft spot for cult classics, clever dupes and anything that makes nails look expensive.
She’s a beauty obsessive, not a dermatologist. For skin conditions or medical questions, always check with a professional.
